First, let me say that I'm ever so pissed that the Bills converted yet another first round pick into a mid round selection. I can accept it for a guy like Maybin, who hasn't accomplished anything in the NFL. Evans, on the other hand, was productive and generally a pretty good guy. Since Buffalo couldn't have gotten more than a 4th (so far as we know.....cough....bungled Lynch trade....cough.....), I would much rather have seen the team keep Evans. He wasn't a locker room cancer to this point in his career and seemed unlikely to become one now if he didn't get shipped off to another football team.
I will say that I'm glad to see Evans playing for a Super Bowl contender. It can't be said that he didn't pay his dues.
Putting all of that aside, what kind of an impact will Evans' departure have on the Bills' 2011 record?
