Supplemental Draft among other things

Hello fellow rumblers,

This post is more about myself acquiring information then it is about sharing my knowledge.  My first question to anyone that may know is this:  1.) Has anyone seen any kind of a list of players that have declared for the supplemental draft this wednesday?  I am always daydreaming about ways the bills can add good players, and besides this Michael Mcadoo guy, I haven't heard of any other names in this supplemental draft.  I also thought it was very curious that the Bills chose to release Maybin now rather then when final roster cuts were made, and maybe it's the optimistic side of me that believes that the FO may try and make a move in the next few days? Cough cough supplemental draft.

2.) I saw a couple of pictures of Dave Wannstetd on the sideline of Saturday's game with a mic on his head looking an awful lot like he was making the play calls.  Does anybody know if the defensive play calling duties were handed from George to Dave or have any kind of insight on that front?  The reason I ask is because I attend the University of Pittsburgh and I have always been a big fan of the defenses we have fielded (although our offenses left me underwhelmed).  Just 2 seasons ago we led the nation in sacks and I would love to see Dave take the reigns of the play calling.

Well guys, jump in...

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Not sure if Wannstedt is calling plays, but I doubt it… probably just talking upstairs.

And as far as the Maybin release, it could be that they are going to make another move soon, but it sounded like they did it in respect for Maybin to catch on with a team during camp still so he had a better shot at making a squad.

Now attending the Univ. of Hockey.

Stay away from this supplemental draft, unless your team is willing to give up it’s first round draft pick for next year forget it.

In the supplemental draft, you put a bid in of a round for a player.

i.e. Michael M. — Round 5, if your pick (order from this year) was the highest bid, you give up that rounds pick (has to be yours not another teams acquired in a trade) for the player.
