Sullivan calls Buffalo 'Embarrassingly Cheap;' meanwhile PFT likes the Bills's moves
2 great stories for the price of 1 fanshot! First, as the headline says, Jerry Sullivan calls the 'embarrassingly cheap' Bills an organization that's not serious about winning now. This is old trope if you've been following the Bills (or Sullivan) for any amount of time, and certainly plenty of ink has been spilled on the subject. These are the types of columns Mr. Sullivan copy pastes from his archives when he has an early tee time. More interestingly, Sullivan correctly points out the team's wisdom showing patience with the LB position by NOT resigning Poszluzny (Sp? I can't be bothered with such trivial information any longer). Even the most staunch Poz apologists must concede that the linebacker was overpaid by virtue of striking a deal early in free agency. The market for linebackers has since plummeted, allowing Buffalo to land Barnett for a tidy 3 years, 12 million. Compare that to Poz's 42 million, 15 million guaranteed contract, and it's hard not to agree with PFT that the Bills played this one correctly.
