I can't be bothered with such trivial information any longer). Even the most staunch Poz apologists must concede that the linebacker was overpaid by virtue of striking a deal early in free agency. The market for linebackers has since plummeted, allowing Buffalo to land Barnett for a tidy 3 years, 12 million. Compare that to Poz's 42 million, 15 million guaranteed contract, and it's hard not to agree with PFT that the Bills played this one correctly.
