TE Shawn Nelson was a bit shaken up after absorbing a hard hit and was checked out by a trainer. He remained on the field but did not take part in any reps afterward.

Oh man...
"Any tool is a weapon if you hold it right." ~ Ani Difranco
Buddy's getting the tools, now it's up to Chan!
like death, taxes and the "15 items or less" lane being the slowest at Wegman's
some things you can just count on.
He needs to be told straight up he’s not going to make the club from the tub this year regardless of how fast he runs. He can’t stay on the field, they can’t use him. I did a cratwheel when they stole him in the 4th round. I’m really close to being through with him now.

15 items or fewer!
Sincerely, The Militant Grammarians of Massachusetts
They can kill you, but the legalities of eating you are quite a bit dicier.
Definitely a reason he slipped to the 4th round. Oh and not sure which Wegmans you suffer waiting in line for any length of time, but try the same thing at Tops. It’s like waiting is part of the experience there.

I’d imagine that kind of hit doesn’t help with the migraines.

Was it a hit to the head? If not, I dont' see how it could be connected at all.

Leg injury
Joe, the word from Chris Brown is: “he got he leg rolled up at the end of the play during 11-on-11 team work. He hobbled to the side, but coach Gailey said he should be okay to go come Thursday as he has all of Wednesday to rest up and recover.”

Not a matter of if. A matter of when. It appears he has cluster migraines. The type that stay with a person for a very extended period of time.

Someone get him the Kelso helmet
We don’t have enough decent tight ends to lose him.

That show? I am pretty sure he is referring to Mark Kelso from the Bills and his Double Layered helmet.
Who hit him?
My girlfriend gets Migraines, she doesn’t play football she is a massage therapist but headaches don’t stop her from working
It all depends on how bad they tend to be. My mother gets em she had one so bad she threw up. Theres the ones where you can ffunction and the ones where there not ones you can function with. You should ask her about what her worst one is life. doesn’t sidney rice have the same problem at times.

Percy Harvin of the Vikings...
I remember his team was giving him crap for missing days of camp until they saw him collapse on the field because of one. If they hurt enough to keep an NFL player off the field (they deal with pain every day during the season) then they aren’t a joke.

Migraines suck
Sometimes they won’t be so bad, just a bad headache with some light sensitivity. Sometimes they are so bad, you feel like throwing up if you move and you just want to stay in bed in the dark all day. I once had one where I felt nauseous any time I moved and would get piercing pains if the lights were too bright. They can be bruuuuuuutal.

I have the cluster type, which can, and has for me, lasted up to 3 months continuously.. It’s not enough to keep you from doing the daily stuff, but forget about any physical activity. Running isn’t happening while they’re happening. No real problems with light and feeling sick, but simply lifting a full garbage bag out of the can was enough effort to make it seem like an elephant was driving a dump truck over my head.

I had a math midterm in highschool one time. As I was taking it, I could start to feel these painful convulsions in my head.Still, I completed it in an hour (we had two hours) but I had to sit there for the rest of the time. I had never gotten a migraine before, but when I was still able to diagnose that it was a migraine, but when I told the teacher in the room. He assumed it was just a headache and had me drink some water, which just made things worse. Fifteen minutes later, the convulsions just get so painful that I start throwing up on my math midterm in the middle of the class. Wonderful. (I still got the highest grade though, so at least I can take that).
Dont quote me on this...
But I think it was Jon Corto…I was watching the D linemen and heard a big hit n saw Cort walking away, and I thought it was Shawn Nelson who got hit but I couldn’t see…either way Corto laid a nice hit on someone

Te we could actually use
Seahawks signed Zac miller, thinking the bills should offer a 3rd or 4th rounder for John Carlson. Very good all around te and a massive upgrade over anyone currently on the depth chart
We have to have Luck this offseason, figuratively and literally. He’s a year removed from 50 catches for 585yds an 7 majors and he can block. I’d take a 4th round flyer on that. It’d probably be a compensation pick we get for poz

Can't trade comp picks
And the Bills aren’t likely to get any next year anyhow since they signed FA’s Brad Smith and Tyler Thigpen to help cancel out the loss of Poz. Once Whitner signs, there’s a chance the Bills could get a very late pick if the guys they lost thoroughly outperform the guys we signed. I’m not sure Barnett would factor in since he was cut.

right
in addition to having our recently-departed players play really well… we need to have a “net loss” of free agents. I am pretty sure we aren’t going to have a net loss, so we probably won’t get a comp pick.
Any News On Easley?
I know he’s supposed to be out for about a week they said, but during his short time out there has he looked recovered? made any plays? or is it just too early to tell right now

Isn’t he not practicing for a week? I doubt he’s doing much of anything, prolly just catching balls while standing around.

It's official
Time to lock the following players in a bubble until 9/11/11: Shawn Nelson, Shawne Merriman, Marcus Easley, Roscoe Parrish, Nick Barnett, Terrence McGee and Dwan Edwards. It’s really the only way to ensure these guys will be healthy for week 1.

I’d put Bell and Wood in the bubble too if there’s room.

More than 26 million under the cap.
That could help make Zach Miller a very rich man.

Signed
Zach Miller just signed a 5 year deal with the Seahawks worth $34 Million, of which $17 million is guaranteed
We’ll see how good he makes their pathetic QB situation. A good measuring stick, i’d say!

Didn’t bother to do their homework to find out about his medical history
