Inside The Bills | Hairston to play LT Thurs.
"He played left tackle in college so he had a comfort level at left tackle," said Gailey in reference to Hairston playing on the right and left side last Saturday. "I think it’s worked out well for him to be able to play both. The way we sit right now he needs to know both so it helps us from a depth perspective as well. We’ll keep him at left this week just so he can hone in on that for an extended period of time and see how he does."
Inside The Bills | CB Williams update
"Williams, who has experience in the slot from his college days at Texas, is expected to get his fair share of snaps there Thursday night against the Lions in the preseason finale. "

Bills Hangartner Not Thinking About Cuts - WGR 550
When I asked the veteran if he feared being cut he gave me a look like, "What are you talking about?" The center actually said, "I'm not worried about that, that's not something you can think about in this business, I mean if it happens, it happens, but I haven't put any thought to that."
Offense looks to carry confidence into season - YNN

Just putting this out there because I don’t know where else to post it:
I REALLY hope that Naaman Roosevelt makes this roster over Buster Davis and Ruvell Martin. Naaman catches everything thrown his way and it’s awesome to have UB represented on this team.

True Test for Bills o-line tonight!
Don’t overlook the Lions as the same old Lions. They have a good chance to make the playoffs and their Defensive Line might be the best in the NFL. With Suh, who is a beast, and Vandenbosch, not to mention an underrated and rising star in Cliff Avril, they also have Corey Williams and Nick Fairley. Last week they gave the Pats and Tom Brady all kinds of problems. It could be ugly tonight.
Wood handled Suh last season, I expect more of the same for the 6-8 plays the starters will see. That is of course, if Suh lines up over center.
Vandenbosch and Fairley probably won’t play (but didn’t last week and the line was still excellent). Avril is quick around the edge and Williams is a BIG man in the middle.
If I’m Chan Gailey, I come out in a power run formation, get Fred Jackson the ball and if you end up in a third and long, run a draw. Don’t ask the line to do much when the starters are in.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a Riser, but so is Chad Henne – which completely makes this worthless.

While I enjoy several of the fantasy football team names I created this year, my favorite is “Chants For Orton”.

Eager to Shep on the field tonight
Also I hope Tyler gets a lot of reps….He just needs to get in sync with the offense. It scares me that he’s just one play away from being our QB. O-line also needs to be consistent. Last week was great! Duplicate it!

I like that Hairston is playing LT tonight. I’d really like to see if he shows something to build on. He’s always struck me (in my very limited knowledge for this sort of thing) as more athletic with less reach, so more of a RT, but who knows?

IIRC, what I heard about him during the draft was that he lacked prototypical lower body strength for a RT. But I will be pleasantly happy if he succeeds at either spot for the Bills.
