do people ever do their homework before talking about the bills?

i just went onto google news and typed in 'buffalo bills' and the first thing that came up was a preview of the bills chiefs game by some guy called bj kissel, in his expert analysis he talks about how the bills replaced poz with barnett however poz is "a much better player", even though poz couldnt stop steven hawking catching passes over the middle. he mentions that we need a reciever outside of steve johnson and how brad smith could be that guy! despite the fact that smith is a QB, he makes no mention of parrish or donald jones, its like he doesnt know they exist. it seems like everybody is writing columns now without having to know jack about what their talking about, im not attacking this guy personally but i think if people are going to have their columns front and center they should at least be well informed http://kansascity.sbnation.com/kansas-city-chiefs/2011/9/10/2416164/kansas-city-chiefs-vs-buffalo-bills-previewing-week-one-matchup

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Nope

ESPN “experts” hardly ever do, so why should bloggers have to?

The answer is ‘no’. No they don’t.

Sad but true!

Until they start winning they will get minimum attention from all media except local. That’s just the way it is. I agree that it’s pathetic to report on something where your knowledge is limited to say the very least, but that’s how it goes. The moral of the story is that we need to start winning games.

I think the impression we all got in KC was that Poz was a big free agent signing, and a major loss.

I don’t think that takes away from Barnett, its just that one player is young with upside, the other is older, and eventually older players run out of juice. He may very well be an upgrade, but it’s hard for an outsider to see that. We don’t even get adaquate coverage of the Chiefs in KC, much less other teams.

That’s how all coverage on the Bills is. I bet tomorrow they’ll talk about how Fitz is a great QB who can only get better and we have a solid O-line and we’ll really miss Whitner and Poz. If the Bills were relevant then people would care and do research or even notice, but honestly why should they?

I couldn’t possibly learn as much about your team as you guys already know. I talked about Brad Smith bringing an offensive presence to your team since Evans had left. I also said that the combination of guys you brought in had upgraded your team on defense.
