Yep. “May be bad” – as in “there’s still a chance it might not be” – means his career is over. Irrefutable logic.

I do think that they won’t hesitate to put him on IR. with all the rumors of cutting him, there must have been some logic to all of that. If its bad enough, they will IR him and move forward quickly I believe

If the Bills are going to cut him, why put him on IR?

career as a 'bill' is over

while i like mcgee, he is injured far more than he is healthy. i think OBD will most likely move on after the season. my take anyway.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Point is, he’s not even out for the year yet.

I think captainStros is making a prediction. When you make a prediction, there is more than logic involved. I would tend to agree with captainStros’s prediction.

I felt like their suiting up just four corners yesterday was light to begin with and if McGee
misses time, they’ll probably have to make a roster move. I suppose Reggie Corner could be an option.

That is by far the most likely course of action. He’d be their dime back, with Aaron Williams playing nickel. Justin Rogers isn’t ready to play.

SLOT

Slot CB will be crucial especially against a team like the Pats!!! But I BILLieve in a young Williams and Rogers..

Perfect example of how injuries can ruin a career...

It sucks! I’m sure he worked his tail off to be injury free and ready to go this season. I feel for him. I was hoping he could prove himself as a good consistent CB. Frustrating for him i’m sure. Good luck and get well.

Nix decision

To draft a CB in the 2nd rd doesn’t look too foolish now, huh?

When you play in a division with Tom Brady and play against the top flight receivers in this division….you’re going need some CB’s…and luckily we got a couple decent WR’s in this years draft.

An un-named source says his injury may be bad.

Sorry, had to chuckle a little there. Way to go out on a limb there Rodney.

I think most of us didn’t expect McGee, or Merriman for that matter, to make it through 16 games healthy. We can hope, but track records show differently unfortunately.

by lonestar_ak on Sep 12, 2011 4:14 PM EDT reply actions

i suppose most had hoped for more than a play or two though before it happened ;)

As bad as I feel for saying this, seeing the amount of years he put in for the Bills, I was really hoping for someone to step in and prove ready and able to fill his shoes. Moving him for a extra mid round draft pick could pay far more dividends than McGee in a Bills uni (ala Evans).

Wish we couldve gotten something for Poz and Whitner also. Instead of letting them walk.

"Source" Really

Can’t they report facts or at least have a reputation for reporting credible information? I am sorry, true or not, a tweet with no quantitative information is very weak.
