With McGee out..

With Terrence McGee out for a couple weeks with this injury and coach Chan Gailey saying that they are always looking for a short time replacement I was wondering who was out there in the FA still at the cornerback position that could come in for atleast a couple weeks so we don't have to play rookie Aaron Williams and Justin Rodgers too much and too soon. I think it is important to do this but I dont know if there is anyone still out there worth trying to get. So just leave a comment with your opinion and thoughts on this topic! :) LETS GO BILLS!!!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Reggie Corner?

Thought he was a pretty good player and knows the system already

I actually like

That Williams will be starting and playing a lot. The kid has a ton of potential, brings more to the table in the run stop and was brought in to be Mcgees replacement anyway.

Williams and Buffalo will both benifit from Mcgee being out. There will be a few growing pains, but he will be ok.

I also agree with that statement..I think he is a good player but I am not sure he is ready.

he probably isnt. but it doesnt make sense to sign someone to come in and stunt his progress, does it?
picking up a guy to come in as insurance for another injury would be one thing, bringing someone in and automatically upgrading them to nickelback is a much different (and less sensible) alternative.

we're not exactly in make or break year

I don’t mind seeing aaron williams on the field at all this season. The more experience the better I say. He didn’t look out of place at all on Sunday. and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of rodgers in some 4 or 5 wide coverages. he looked quick in preseason

I think Lito Sheppard is still a FA. Not sure what he has left in the tank.

Year two is upon us.
