Inside The Bills | Why Corner was necessary
"The Raiders do not employ nearly the number of spread sets of the Patriots, whom the Bills face in Week 3 or the Eagles, Buffalo’s opponent in Week 5. Knowing rookie corners are often tested, having an additional vet like Corner helps to fortify what Buffalo has on the back end."

If the season ended today… | Goal-Line Stand | Blogs | theScore.com
"Coach of the year: Chan Gailey, Bills - I’ve been hard on him (and the entire team) in the past, but that was an amazing performance on the road to start the season. Despite a fairly severe lack of talent, the Bills were the most dominant team of the opening week."

NFL.com Blogs - Fitzpatrick leads Playbook’s all-unheralded team
"QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills: Despite being on a 4-12 team, the Bills’ signal-caller showed tremendous poise and courage for his team last season, even with a meager offensive line and an inexperienced receiving corps. With his intuition, accuracy, and ability to throw to open receivers, he should only improve on his 3,000-yard campaign in 2010. And after his impressive 2011 debut, he has proved he is more than capable of turning Buffalo into a contender." Kyle Williams also on the team.

McGee's injury opens door for Corner's return - The Buffalo News
"How much time he's going to see, I don't know," Bills coach Chan Gailey said. "I think that probably depends on what they play offensively. I could see him being in some of our dime packages if they end up creating dime situations. How much of that, I don't know."

But Monday hits, you go through the game plan and you're involved, and then Tuesday came and it's like 'OK, forget all that other stuff, you've got to go.'"

Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey 'hurts' for Marcus Easley | Democrat and Chronicle
"It's hard for our football team, but it's hard for him," Gailey said. "After what he went through last year, and then to be right on the cusp of being there this year and not being able to do it. We sat and talked yesterday and it hurts him, and I hurt for him."

We were playing calls that we were confident in playing that we knew inside and out and guys could just line up and play the game without doing a whole bunch of thinking and major adjustments based on what the offense was giving us, so it's off to a good start, but we have to do it again this week with just as tough test in the running game."

I wonder what Bills marketing is thinking???

Let’s see, first they implement park where you come in laying the screws to tailgaiters.

Then they ban smoking anywhere inside the gates.

For the final nail in the coffin they implement this……

Bills to implement enhanced pat-down procedure – BuffaloBills.com. (Story linked above)

Just what I want, to get molested like at the airport……

Do they really need to wonder why this story might be related

Have you been to the stadium since the new parking procedures were implemented? Because I have, and I thought it was set up very nicely. Y’all will have PLENTY of room to tailgate in the stadium lots.

And the enhanced pat-down procedure involves checking the area between knee and ankle. Not exactly a titillating part of the body.

The problem is being with your friends in other cars.

If you get separated in traffic on the way to the stadium, you are SOL, you can’t park with your friends.

Yep. And they packed all the corners into a tiny corner of the lot, just like they’ll do Sunday.

So I had a post deleted with no explanation. Do the moderators email us and let us know why? There wasn’t anything inflammatory in my post, but it got deleted anyway. I certainly hope it wasn’t cause I was disagreeing with you Brian.

The smoking ban is the only one I see as a problem, and I don’t smoke. There are plenty of other lots if you so choose. Only two are Disney-style parking and there are a bunch off-site you can choose to use.

that is the biggest for me.
The smoking ban is the only one I see as a problem

I am a smoker so at halftime I would smoke a couple smokes on the grass behind the scoreboard to the left of it from behind like so many others, it really ticks me off since it is outside, and you can sit a solid 10 feet+ off the walkway where it shouldn’t bother passers by.

I totally understand that. They need to have a place or places for smokers to go because they don’t allow them to leave and come back.

by MattRichWarren on Sep 15, 2011 9:39 AM EDT up reply actions

Way excessive w/the smoking ban

to the point of being down right foolish.

Absolutely no way the smokers(not one) are bothering anyone by smoking on the grass(no pun) or any other out of the way place. Conversely these people get mighty uncomfortable when unable to ingest the calming effects of nicotine.

Worst decision by OBD this year, you do want to sell tickets right??

For the love of america.. We here western new yorkers are just that..a lil western at heart. Good hard working people who pride themselves in family friends tradition freedom and believe in the american flag and our drink of choice ice cold. Football is all of that. its something most of us have in common. If people wanna smoke designate an area..if people wanna tailgate..let them..if some a__hole brings weapons or starts a fight..introduce him to the erie county jail before the locals kick his ass. Stop trying to control everything. give the fans a good experience at an honest price.

This week will be the worst......
.if some a__hole brings weapons or starts a fight..introduce him to the erie county jail

When the Raiders come to town, all the east side thugs come out of the woodwork, and if the Raiders lose, they start fights and damage cars, like breaking windows. I’ll be watching this one from the comfort of my living room on the big screen. I truly hate going to the Ralph when the Raiders come to town.

Yep

But what else would you expect from Raiders fans, If the Bills win this one though, I will probably go to the Pats game and hope they can break the losing streak against the Pats, I wish it was some other team besides the Raiders this week, but unfortunately, it’s the Raiders.

This is true

for pretty much every stadium Raiders fans go to. You should see how many fights and the craziness that goes on at a Chargers Raiders game. I went to one of these games one time and I was utterly shocked. First, the fact that the raiders fans probably out numbered charger fans at Qualcomm was kind of unsettling. And secondly, when you would look at the crowd there would be multiple fights going on almost constantly.

Seattle

Your not from the West coast I assume? No love between Raiders/Chargers. You expecting picnics and long walks in the park? The Raiders are by definition bad guy’s, most guys wanna be bad! Oh,and Raider fans are violent! Advice don’t wear your Bill’s jersey in Oakland!

Chan, a coach trying to win, as opposed to trying not to lose!. Nice!

Actually

I was born and raised in San Diego. I know all about what goes on between the fans, it gets quite comical actually. I was just surprised that more people watched the fights break out than the actual game.
