Bills vs Raiders Animation

Just a quick little animation I did to get myself, and other Bills fans, pumped for the game!

If people like this, I might do a couple more as the season continues. Hopefully I'll have more free time coming up soon, so the next ones should be a little more polished. Let me know what you guys think. And to my fellow Bills fans going to the game this Sunday, LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE! LEAD THE CHARGE! GO BILLS!!!!

Suggestion for week 3 animation:
Giselle riding in from NE with Tom Brady.
Tom comes flying through a pile of ashes outside of the Ralph
As Tom continues on a Phoenix rises from the ashes
The majestic bird swoops in front of the couple
lands on the ground and morphs into the Bills Front 7 (same animation style as Dareus in this one)
the stampede flattens Tom as Giselle runs for her life
the stampede morphs into the “handsomest team in the NFL” that they are
and ride off into the sunset with the smitten Giselle……… my blood is boiling already and we haven’t even played week 2- LOL

Thanks. I used Newtek’s Lightwave 3D for the modeling/animation. Adobe After Effects for the composting/editing/sound.

I would love to get your buffalo models (Dareus, Fitz, Stevie, Kyle) in .obj format.

I’m not much of a modeller (But have been working on it in blender), but do some animation with premade models I can get for free or purchase. I am mostly set up for .obj format imports.

If you would be willing to let me have a copy send them as email attachments in .obj format to buffalokid7@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance if you send them, and in the email, just tell me what you would like to promote like a website/portfolio or such when I use em. I will always give you proper credit.

but when I saw this posted on our blog I died laughing. Great job with this video! I was already pumped for the game but this was a nice touch. I can’t wait man.

But to dancam1, no need to be so timid when coming over to the darkside. We’re pretty respectful to outside fans that show us respect. The only time we bite is when you start trolling or starting mess. Either that or are a fan of a rival team and do either of the above. We like intelligent football discourse with opposing teams fans.

Next time you’re over at S&BP, relax and kick back and enjoy a good football conversation with our folks because your team shares just as storied a history as ours, and has fallen on just as hard times as us, so there is an inherent mutual respect there, at least on our side. You post on our site as if you expect to be attacked viciously for not being a Raider fan posting on our site. I promise you we are nothing like the many stereotypes and mistruths about us.

Wow ...

Wow. I really didn’t expect this to blow up the way it did. Thanks to everyone for their comments, and for spreading it around.

I’m currently living near Atlantic City, New Jersey, but went to the game this weekend (my first ever home opener, and first live game in like 8 years) with a bunch of old friends. After posting it late Friday night I kinda forgot about it, until after an 8 hour drive I got to my friends house in Rochester and he told me it already had 1400 hits in like 16 hours. And that people had spread it to the message boards on the official Bills site and the Raiders web page. That was awesome! Cant believe it got 8k hits in just one weekend. So thanks again to everyone who shared it, wither with their friends or on another website/board.

I will definitely be doing more of these this season. But they do take a while to make, so I don’t know how many I can crank out. The next one I’m doing for sure will be for the home Jets game in November. And I’ll be doing one to hype the home Dolphins game in December. Any more beyond that will depend on my schedule.
