Bills vs. Patriots Injury Update: Stevie Johnson Back Practicing

PrintAfter missing practice on Wednesday due to a lingering groin injury, Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson returned to the practice field Thursday - and did so without limitation. Reporters on scene noted that Johnson was clearly less than 100 percent; nonetheless, Johnson remains on track to play in Sunday's Week 3 showdown with the New England Patriots.
Spencer Johnson (hip) also returned to full practice participation Thursday. Torell Troup (back) was full go for a second straight day, and may be healthy enough to make his 2011 debut this weekend, should the team choose that route. Missing practice for a second straight day were Kraig Urbik (knee), Kirk Morrison (hamstring) and Terrence McGee (hamstring). Morrison was on hand to watch practice from the sidelines.
On New England's side of the ball, six players sat out Thursday: tight ends Aaron Hernandez (knee) and Dan Gronkowski (hamstring), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back), defensive linemen Albert Haynesworth (back) and Mike Wright (concussion), and safety Patrick Chung (thumb). Seven more players were listed as limited.
Haynesworth and Gronkowski are new injuries for the Patriots. Vollmer, Haynesworth, Wright and Chung are all listed as starters by the Patriots, and we all know that Hernandez plays a significant role, as well. Early reports indicate Chung will be out.

With all this injury talk, especially in regards to WR, is there any murmur of a TO re-signing? Or is the front office too proud to sign a high caliber WR after just trading one….

You did sort of make a chatacter assumption of the premis of not signing a old wide out when he is getting surgery from a bad achilles I believe is suppose to be out till mid to late season. Buffalo also put up 38 points so if we need to bring in a to it would be late in season bad injury to someone and having playoffs contentions.

Word of advise, as a Pats fan;
Don’t assume too much from one of ther injury reports especially when it’s regarding starters. Tom Brady was on it forever.

why all the talk aboult bring t.o. back ? if you are a bills fan and watched any games he played with them (wont say us cause i wasnt on the field) could somebody please tell me what did i miss!!!! cause i sure didnt see anything to warrant his ……2 mill for a year(wasnt worth 20k) i always thought he was overrated even in 9er land not just my opinion but 9er fans too

being from kentucky i have watched stevie for a while and being a bills fan i was happy when they got him told everybody to watch n see everybody told me i was crazy and yes i have been a bills fan since 86 o and fritz at cincy seen him play too 2 n 0 i know it sounds bad but …..for bills fans thats worth hollarin bout whoopwhoop n dont count em out sunday !!
