Chan Gailey. These Bills are playing their a$$es off, blowing out bad teams and now winning tough, close games against good teams, and I think that Chan Gailey is wholly responsible for this team's performance.
Fitzpatrick has been good, but not great - he still continues to make some poor decisions at times and some ridiculously bad throws, but Chan consistently puts him in positions to be successful. I was convinced that the Bills could not win big with Fitz at the helm, but I've officially changed my mind - they can and they are.
The O-Line has gone from the biggest question mark and weakness to what seems to be a strength - they are run blocking and pass protecting well - if yesterday's game didn't call for so much passing, Fred would have easily had another 100yd day - instead, he "settles" for 6 YPC.
The D, while not dominant in any way, has come up with some big turnovers - the fumble against Oakland changed everything and the picks yesterday were huge - can't win without them.
The only big concern I have right now is the fact that, despite the fact that we've come back and won the last two games, our starts have been horrific - The Bills can't keep putting themselves in big holes to start games. We've gotten away with it for two weeks now, and hopefully it was just a passing phase.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this team's start and their success falls 100% on Gailey trusting in them and calling plays to their strengths.
