I've been pondering a few things after this great win against the hated Pats. The Bills made some moves this off-season that have been roundly criticized by many here on Rumblings. Some even made reference to the possibility of the Bills being in the running for Manning 2.0. We've learned to not get too excited about success and to expect the worse, but hope for the best.
This Bills team has been thought of by many outsiders as a hodgepodge of cast offs, "busts" and can't do right's. With undrafted rookies, seventh round picks, injury prone vets, former juice heads, a coach that was canned as offensive coordinator just before the season, and a gm that has been a scout for years and was never offered a chance to drive the bus. Who even when he got a chance it's with the hapless BILLS, who can only barely get out of there own way. The QB is a guy from Harvard and is only a stop gap to a QB of the future. WR's no one knows and they just gave up there best one they had, they chuckle. Not to mention the Defense, they'd laugh. They're a team from a city, that has seen folks leave in droves, with high taxes and snow up to your nose, most scoff.
Let me tell you, I don't believe in luck, not one bit. Sometimes things happen for a reason. If it's that your hard work pays off or that you've treated like a second class citizen, at some point you stand up for yourself and won't let yourself be pushed around anymore. You start to fight back all the while remembering who kicked you when you were down. THEN IT'S PAY BACK TIME AND PAYBACK IS A FITZ!
By the way, Pick up your teeth Pats, the Buffalo Bills are back!
Get on the Wagon my friends, it's going to be the ride of your life!
Go Bills!
