FINALLY!  It has been a long eight years.  Certainly not the brightest period in the history of our beloved Buffalo Bills, but it is over.  Gone.  No more.

My greatest fear right now is the Cincinnati Bungals (not a typo).  Not because they are a particularly good team.  they are 1-2, and beat the Browns in week 1.  Big deal right?  The Bills haven't lost the to the Bengals in what? Twenty three years or something like that?  They have a rookie QB, a rookie WR... on and on.  What they do have is fairly decent defense.  It is actually ranked 5th in the league.  But the Browns, Broncos, and 49ers aren't exactly posting a ton of yards this season (24th, 26th, and 32nd ranked offenses respectively).  Not exactly an intimidating team.

The reason they scare me is because this fits the definition of a trap game to a "T."  Big win the previous week? Check! Weak upcoming opponent? Check! The Bills are getting a lot of attention from national media now. It's nice.  All of this really is. The bandwagon is filled with tons of people outside of New England, they are busy talking about how they LOST the game, how the Brady picks...blah blah blah.... they are in denial.  The fact is this SHOULD be a win.  Won't say easy win, in the NFL there really is no such thing.

Next week is very important.  It is just as much a "Must Win" as the Pats game.  This team seems as though they are acting like they have been here before.  That it is just another win.  Hopefully it's not just a front.  I don't think it is.  I have my hopes up.  The Bungals game will really show us all something about this team.  Not only can they win big games against tough divisional opponents, but that they can come back the following week ready to go to work.
