"I am not going to get into this, but I will try to clear that up," he said. "It’s the other way around; I talk him out of going after high-dollar guys that you see on TV and ESPN. That has happened more than once. It’s me talking him out of it."

Inside The Bills | Nix on Hangartner release
"Geoff lacks strength to anchor at the point... You have one guy that backs up the center and both guards. You have to have a guy who backs up both tackles. In my opinion, Geoff could not do that. So that’s what we did."

Inside The Bills | Nix on Bills new OL Young
"He’s a huge man. He’s a very smart guy and he brings an attitude with him and we need more of that. He’s got a little nasty in him. He’s a much better run blocker than a pass blocker. He’s not a great foot athlete being at that size. He finishes blocks and he’ll help our running game. We’ll play him at right tackle."

Morrison cramming for Sunday - BuffaloBills.com
"Right now I’ve got the basics down, and I’m still learning on the fly too," said Morrison. "I’ve got to play a lot of catch-up, learn a lot of defense. Until that happens I’m definitely comfortable with sitting behind Andra (Davis) and Nick (Barnett) and just being a part of a rotation."

Marv Levy opens new chapter of career: Novelist - Yahoo! Sports
"I think we’ll have to find out how well it’s accepted," Levy said by phone from his home in Chicago. "That’s one of the great things about coaching and maybe it is about writing. You don’t know the outcome when you enter it. And that makes it even more intriguing."

Nix claiming that he’s the one refusing to over pay for free agents means he’s taking full responsibility for the team.

Duly noted. Carry on.

How has this not been addressed by Nix
When asked if owner Ralph Wilson has told him specifically to save money, again Nix refuted the notion.

"I am not going to get into this, but I will try to clear that up," he said. "It’s the other way around; I talk him out of going after high-dollar guys that you see on TV and ESPN. That has happened more than once. It’s me talking him out of it."

Shawn Merriman, Nick Barnett, Kirk Morrison a specialist in Brad Smith are all big name free agents. The only thing missing is an offensive lineman. Nix has not only battled Ralph with these ESPN people that was spoke of, I am sure Brandon would of liked more as well. So in actuality Buddy has calmed the two very top men in the organization. At the same time he has brought in four players that have proven themselves over their careers with a specialist to quench the thirst of our offensive minded head coach. Two years running and Chan has obtained a C.J. Spiller and now a Brad Smith while Buddy has been grouping a defense along with Dave Wannstedt. How can it be not good, answer: first year 4-12. It’s all about wins.

Sports talk show

Its a shame we don’t have a sports talk show in the mornings in Buffalo. that program that’s run in the mornings on GR is a joke. How can talking about Dancing with the Stars and other reality shows be considered sports. Then to top it off when they do talk about sports they bring in Jerry Sullivan to bash the Bills

Sullivan is the worst with both the Sabres and the Bills

Because Jerry Sullivan is such a football guru?

the dude is trash so he is invited to talk on trashy radio shows…I couldn’t care less what people like Jerry Sullivan think, especially about mens games like football and hockey. The only reason anyone listens to him is because he makes outragious statements and bashes teams to get himself heard, TRASH
