The New England Patriots have just beaten the Baltimore Ravens, 23-20, to advance to Super Bowl XLVI. They did so thanks to former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans, who dropped a potential game-winning touchdown pass with less than 30 seconds remaining in the contest. I had no idea how to feel during that play; how did y'all react?
The Pats will face the winner of the NFC Championship Game, set to kick off in moments. There, the New York Giants - fresh off of upsetting the Green Bay Packers - will travel to the left coast to take on the host San Francisco 49ers, who have been season-long upstarts.

I heard some crazy stat on the radio that teams beating a team in the playoffs by a certain margin are a combined 0-14 in the playoffs lifetime. That potentially spells doom for the Giants.

I can’t recall exactly and I’m not at the office computer to type more but some stat that the Giants are part of (believe it has to do with margin of victory in playoff game), means they face a history of teams doing the same thing go 0-14 the following week
