Former Bills OC, and Colorado State HC, Steve Fairchild joins San Diegos coaching staff

Steve Fairchild is joining Norv Turner in San Diego, as senior offensive assistant/special assignments, Which as far as I can tell, is headcoaching for Norv, when he's to busy doing other headcoaching things.

Dead serious by the way, that's what the article makes the job sound like. Good work if you can get it I guess.

I guess his "dream job" didn't work out so well

He commented that returning to his alma mater and coaching there was his “dream job” at the time that he left Buffalo (which I am sure was the case…) Unfortunately for him that was a bit of a short-lived dream job and now he is off other other things… life of Football coach. Hope this gig is better for him.
