Chan was asked point blank if he wanted Stevie back...

he never says yes. Maybe I’m reading to much into it, but seems to me that is a big red flag.

and if anyone knows what I am doing wrong posting these links...please let me know
Why isn’t the 2nd half of the link? It will work until another video is posted though.

You can’t do the linking in the title field; just in the comment body. Reason: title fields are already individual links, so that you can link to specific comments.

For whatever reason, any link with a question mark in it (“?”) stops linking it once the question mark comes in.

Just watched the video: In all fairness, a lot of it was coach speak, like his answer on whether he was impressed with Spiller: “His vision and ball handling got better”.
It might be that, if he says he wants him back, and Nix doesn’t agree and they let him walk, then he doesn’t want to be on record as saying he wanted him back.
Or, he might no want him back.

yes...a lot of coach speak, but
how difficult would have it been for him to say….Yes I want him back…or I would like to have him back. Then there was the part where he said Fitz makes a lot of WRs look better. Granted it could be nothing, but after watching that I feel like the Bills are going to low ball him. Stevie will be testing the FA market, IMO :-(

That bit about Fitz is silly.

the bigger issue is the fact that it is an issue at all.
Wanting Stevie back, should be a no brainer, but unfortunately it has come to this.

i agree
Why for a team with such few good players would they even consider not paying him? I’m not on the inside so I don’t really know what’s going on, but I see the end results.

Alienating their fanbase. If they choose to lose Stevie, many will turn on the team. What reason have they given fans to continue supporting them if they can’t see who their best players are?

My guess is that most fans will convince themselves that CHIX made the right decision,
that Stevie isn’t a true #1 WR, that Easley will easily replace him, etc. ad nauseum

Joe, I’ve read about 500 comments tonight on various posts, and this is the one that I most agree with.
