Fred Jackson Fumbles, Cardinals Grab 3-0 Lead On Bills

In the most Buffalo Bills start of the season for the Buffalo Bills, running back Fred Jackson fumbled on the team's first play from scrimmage, setting up a 49-yard field goal from Jay Feely and an early 3-0 lead for the host Arizona Cardinals.

Of course the Bills fumbled the flipping ball on the first play of the flipping game.

The silver lining here is that, despite the latest turnover and the early deficit, Buffalo's beleaguered defense minimized the damage. Arizona went three-and-out following the fumble recovery (caused by a hit by star linebacker Daryl Washington), getting just a short run and two incompletions before settling for the field goal. Kyle Williams knocked down a third-down pass to stall the drive.

Buffalo is back on offense after giving up the early lead to a very good defensive team. Let's see if the Bills can go two plays without turning the ball over this time!
