Larry Fitzgerald Touchdown Gives Cardinals 10-9 Lead On Bills

Stay connected for news and updates

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald just caught a nine-yard touchdown pass from Kevin Kolb, and just like that, the Buffalo Bills trail 10-9 after a dominant first quarter gave them an early lead.

Fitzgerald ran free on a crossing route over the middle, linebacker Nick Barnett picked him up a half-second too late, and Fitzgerald walked into the end zone for what may go down as the easiest touchdown of his illustrious career.

The touchdown capped off a 10-play, 67-yard scoring drive made possible by a no-huddle attack that changed the rhythm of the game and got Buffalo's defense on its heels. The Cardinals converted two key third downs on the drive and William Powell ripped off a 17-yard run to spark Arizona's moribund rushing attack.

Now trailing by a point, it's high time for Buffalo's offense to get going after two straight horrible possessions left the defense on the field for far longer than they should have been.
