This post is not going to be a long one. I just was thinking after a narrow Bills win....has Alex Carrington seriously blocked and batted more kicks then passes in his career.
It just seems like an interesting stat. I loved the pressure our D-Line was able to bring in the game on Sunday however I am curious why we don't bat more passes which can lead to more INT opportunities.
I mean Kevin Kolb is only an inch taller than Ryan Fitzpatrick yet Ryan Fitzpatrick always seems to get the ball knocked out of the air at least twice or so a quarter.
Alex is not a small guy by any means at 6 foot 5 just was odd to think that he could possibly have more kick deflections and blocks than any passes.
Most of our D-Line especially on the outside is over 6 foot 3. I'd like to see us get our hands more in the passing lanes for the times we can't get to the passer. Hopefully that is something easy that we can really improve upon. It is surprising how deflating a batted pass can be to an offense. Buffalo Bills roster
