Downtown Stadium - But More Importantly An Updated Buffalo/WNY

Stay connected for news and updates

It would create a lot of jobs as well as provide greater long-term income for the city of Buffalo.

The Ralph is used only 7-8 times a year. A stadium/convention center like the one proposed would be used for concerts and other event$.

Buffalo NEEDS to be modernized. When you drive on I-190, you drive by MANY outdated and/or abandoned buildings. Without amenities, how can a city avoid extinction!?! Buffalo needs something to attract people IN. Syracuse knows this and they're [FINALLY] updating their entire Carousel Center & downtown areas [a.k.a. Destiny USA]. They know that the city needs to be modernized. It's time Buffalo took up that lesson and provided an economic boost to the city. A new stadium/center would keep us updated with the rest of the league, but more importantly with the rest of American cities. A prosperous city can not run solely based on Anchor Bar wings, the Sabres, UB, one decent mall [Walden Galleria...the other ones are far outdated], and a poorly-developed area of Niagara Falls [the Canadian side is FAR more developed - higher quality hotels, restaurants, etc.]. In most cases anyway, other cities have at least a baseball/basketball/hockey team, a nice mall, and at least one major campus. Buffalo/WNY is our home [as the Ralph is the home of all Bills fans regardless of their international location]. It's time for our home to have some "spring cleaning" so that we can keep up with other cities...or face the decline into a third-rate city.

Buffalo is my home. I want the city and the incredible people [and best fanbase in the NFL] to receive the best amenities and prosper once again THAT WE JUSTIFIABLY DESERVE!! :)

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
