I'm on record calling for the termination of Buddy Nix (for a variety of reasons) and it appears that an increasing percentage of the Rumblings community is coming around to that way of thinking. It seems that even more Rumblers have had it with Chan Gailey, again for a variety of reasons. There are, of course, those who think Nix and/or Gailey should be retained and more than a few who are ambivalent.
If you count yourself in the Fire CHIX camp, what will it take for you to change your mind? Would a win in Houston be enough? How about a win in Foxboro? How about wins in both? Or are you so set in your opposition to CHIX that anything short of a playoff appearance would be insufficient to change your outlook?
If you count yourself in the Keep CHIX camp, what will it take for you to change your mind? Would a loss in Houston do it? A loss in Foxboro? Falling to 3-6? Finishing 500? Below that?
PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS A FORUM FOR FIRE/DON'T FIRE chix RATIONALES. J2 has a great thread for that in the fanposts already. Instead, what will it take for you to change your mind? If you're on the Fire CHIX bandwagon, pick one of the first 3 poll options (Fire CHIX unless....) and if you're inclined to keep CHIX pick one of the last 3 options (Keep CHIX unless....). I'd split it between Nix and Gailey but that would make for a monster poll, not to mention that I see them either both staying or both going.
Poll
(All hail the return of the poll option!) What would it take for you to change your mind on CHIX?
