Buffalo Bills' Mario Williams Feeling Better After Wrist Surgery

The Buffalo Bills are back at One Bills Drive for a post-bye week practice on Monday, and defensive end Mario Williams - fresh off of arthroscopic wrist surgery - was present alongside his teammates.

Telling reporters that he's feeling better since the surgery, Williams is expected to practice this week and play on Sunday against his former team, the Houston Texans, barring the unforeseen complication of his incision site re-opening coming to fruition.

Williams noted that he already has increased range of motion and comfort in the wrist, and also pointed out that the surgery brought him some ease of mind after nearly two months without any notable healing of the injury. Until further notice, however, Williams is still expected to wear a cast on the wrist for additional protection - perhaps only for the aforementioned incision, but perhaps for more. He's worn some form of protection on the wrist all season.

Fresh off of yesterday's report that Williams had the surgery and kept the team informed of the goings-on via text message, the pass rusher also told reporters that Buffalo's training staff was involved in the decision-making process that led to the surgery.
