Trying to find the positives this week

I'm pretty confident that the Bills are going to get pounded in San Fran today. I'll go out on a limb and suggest a final score of 45-13, with Buffalo only getting a touchdown in late 4th quarter garbage time. With that being said I'm looking for some positives to take from the beating to come. (Yes, I know; I'm not the most optimistic of people so this is a tad out of character for me.)

Minnesota's Adrian Peterson, who is one of the better running backs in the league, managed to put up 86 rushing yards on the 49ers defense. That doesn't seem like a lot - and against most teams it probably wouldn't be - but it was enough to keep the ball away from San Fran which is why 24 points was enough to win the game. I'm looking for Jackson and Spiller to each have something like 60ish yards today. Even in what looks like a crushing defeat that might be a little something to look towards heading into suddenly vulnerable looking Arizona.

The Vikings defensive line, from what little of the game that I saw, did get pressure on Alex Smith. Smith isn't a great QB but he's a good game manager, at his best when he's not asked to do too much. Buffalo's own defensive line played pretty well against two bad teams and was largely invisible against a pair of teams with good offensive lines. Well, if the Bills are able to get consistent pressure on Smith that, too, will bode well for the game in Phoenix. (If it was an early game I'd be there...but an 8 hour drive following a game that ends around 530 (MST) and then needing to be bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7 am is a bit much.)

Even with the looming loss, what positives are you looking for with an eye towards Arizona? Or, if you see this after the game, what positives did you see that you think will help the team beat the Cardinals?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
