wannstedt get out of the booth and put boots to @sses

i could be wrong but it seems like every shot of wannstedt during games is of him up in the booth watching the game from a height, it was during the patriots game at least, i know this is pretty much how its done in the nfl now but to me it seems that youre surely losing the ability to hold defenders accountable for thier play during the game if youre not patrolling the sideline, fair enough you have a better view of the game from a press box or whatever it is your sitting in and you can communicate with your linebacker via the radio in his helmet, but as gailey himself has admitted he is totally hands off with his defense and has very little to do with them. so then who is there to chastize a corner for taking his eyes off of his reciever? or a linebacker for backing away from blockers and not treating them with enough aggression? or tear the safety a new one for watching a guy breaze past him for a big gain? in the end it may make no difference at all where dave is situated during game days, id just like to see him more involved with the players, id like to see him show some passion or aggression, maybe throw a clip board when we're getting killed. a slightly concerning thing to me was something i read in the links section a couple weeks ago, it said that wannstedt had come to coach the bills defense as a favor for his old pal chan! that just sounded wrong to me, youd would hope that your defensive co-ordinator was there because he really wanted to be there, because he was passionate about coaching D, not as a dam favor. anyway thats 2 cents i had to share and i may be wrong, it may very well have no effect where your coaches are during the game but at least if we're gonna get slaughtered id like to see my coaches getting angry about it rather than sitting in a booth having a cigar and a waffle
