The Buffalo Bills' offense, at least, has finally decided to show up at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. Fred Jackson ran in from 14 yards out to cap off a six-play, 80-yard scoring drive that cut the New England Patriots' second quarter lead to 17-10. The drive, like New England's scoring drive before it, took just three minutes off of the clock.
Scott Chandler got the drive started with a 23-yard catch and a 17-yard catch, and C.J. Spiller added a couple of nice runs on the drive as well, including a pretty 12-yarder. On Jackson's touchdown run, he spun out of traffic beyond the outstretched arms of Jerod Mayo and ran into the endzone untouched from that point.
Despite the fact that the Bills' defense has been roundly abused to this point in the game, the offense has woken up enough to keep the Bills in a game that, in all honesty, they don't have any business being in. Let's see if they can't build a little momentum here.
