Normally I am a very pessimistic Bills fan and always expect the worst. But, for some reason, I have a feeling that if we can put together a convincing win tonight that we will go on a nice little run to end the season and make a playoff push.

If we can win tonight, we'll have a long week to prepare for the critical Indy game. Win that game too and we've got two easy games (hopefully they are easy) against Jax and St Louis following. So, if we can somehow win tonight and against Indy, we've got a great shot at being 7-6 and own the heads up tiebreaker against the Colts.

We close with three tough games, but if we are on a 4 game win streak and can carry that momentum, I'd feel somewhat confident that we could beat Seattle and the Jets at home. That game in Miami is scary, but even 9-7 could allow us to sneak into the playoffs. If we'd have just won the stupid Tenn game like we should have, then I'd feel a lot more confident about our chances.

I know this sounds crazy, it even sounds crazy as I am typing this. We lost to Tenn at home, so I am not quite sure why I have the confidence that we could make a run. But, I've seen enough progress over the last two weeks that I think we are very close to putting it together. I think this team needs a dose of confidence, and if we can get that, we have the talent to at least make things interesting down the stretch.

Trust me, I won't be getting my hopes up about this, but it starts tonight. Win tonight and next week, then I'll start to slowly allow my hopes to start increasing. Knowing the Bills, they'll come out and lay an egg on national TV tonight and tomorrow I'll be rooting for them to lose the rest of the year and get a better draft pick.
