Well, now that our playoff hopes are almost completely extinguished, it's time to think about the future. My initial thought is that I wish we still had a young QB on our roster that we could throw in there to see how he can compete the rest of the season (i.e. Aaron Corp or Alex Tanney). Unfortunately, we cut both.
As such, I think we should scour practice squads and find a young guy to put on our active roster. My choice would be B.J. Coleman of the Green Bay Packers. There were rumors that we planned on drafting him if he was there for our 7th round pick, so why not make the move and try to get him from the Packers?
Will the Packers really be willing to throw him on the 53 man roster in order to save him? Who knows, but we've really got nothing to lose at this point.
Thoughts? Any other practice squad QBs on anyone's radar?
