Rob Johnson over Flutie was not Wade's Fault...

I'm sure many of you are probably wondering what in the heck this has to do with anything? I was listening to ESPN Radio today and Marcelus Wiley was a guest. I can't recall the show, but the conversation was about the whole Alex Smith/Kaepernick "QB controversy." Wiley then told of his personal experiences with that while he was in Buffalo with Rob Johnson and Doug Flutie. He said after Rob got hurt Flutie came in and was the hot hand QB. He then said that when they got into the playoffs the decision to start Rob over Flutie came from Ralph, not Wade because of the high investment he had in Rob. Now, how true that is or how he would know is beyond me. My point is perhaps our teams' problems are above the obvious (Nix/Gailey/Fitz, etc.)? I know it's hard not to blame this regime for our current woes, but who knows what other alternatives Ralph had prior to hiring Nix? It makes me wonder if we will ever win as long as Ralph is our owner.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
