Okay, I confess I do not have the detailed knowledge of the game many of the posters here do. That's not intended to be snarky or sarcastic, it's just a plain fact. With that out of the way, many (but not all) of the posts I'm reading point correctly to deficiencies in our head coach and our QB. So let's just accept for the sake of arguent that our defense has turned the corner and is at least good enough going forward. That may not be a valid argument, but let's just accept it for the moment.
Coach Gailey appears to lack an ability to lead our team. He makes baffling play calls and does not utilize CJ nearly enough. Fitz, meanwhile, has a weak arm that opposing defenses do not respect and is unable to drive the team in the clutch. You can choose one - but one only - not to return in 2013. Which one is it? Or do you want them both back?
I choose Gailey to go. I admit I go back and forth on this (firing Gailey). There are times when he runs a competent plan. But the fact is that except for the NE game in 2011 he has not beat a quality opponent. He under-uses his most potent weapon in Spiller. Results matter, and he hasn't delivered. Fitz, for all his flaws, can at least function as a "gateway" for hopefuly the long-term answer at QB. For the record, if they bring Gailey back and he delivers, I'll be happy to say I WAS WRONG. That's my $0.02.
