Quick Plan for the Offseason

First things first, DO NOT fire Chan Gailey.

If you watched the Jets play last night, they had no offensive rhythm or any good playcall. Chan actually knows how to do that. I dont know if he would just take over duties as an OC so we can get a fiery head coach like Harbaugh, but if not, that's fine.

2.) Cut Fitzpatrick and re sign key free agents (e.g. Byrd, Levitre, Moore). Fitz doesnt cost a lot, but some extra cap space couldnt hurt. He proves it every game that he can't win a game if our defense doesnt do it for us.

3.) Sign a corner back and a linebacker in free agency. A veteran presence to help teach Brooks, Rogers, and Gilmore could help them a lot. A linebacker that could give this team a true leader and sub in with Barnett/Bradham would be huge. A dream would be to sign Mike Wallace or Greg Jennings.

4.) Draft QB in round 1. I dont care where we pick, quarterback is our #1 need; and if we sign a lb and cb, it will be easily our first need. Mike Glennon is my first choice. (unless we somehow can get Geno Smith) Then a linebacker and a big fast receiver, if Wallace and Jennings dont take their talents to Buffalo. Also a defensive end/tackle and tight end thrown in there.

I trust Nix as a GM. He's been good up to now, I billieve he can get players to take us to the Playoffs. See ya at Super Bowl 48.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
