Bills vs. Jets: Nick Folk Makes FG Despite Alex Carrington Block

Stay connected for news and updates

For the first time this season, Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Alex Carrington - dubbed "Megahand" by teammate Stevie Johnson for his propensity to block field goals - got his hand on a kick that made it through the uprights. The New York Jets cut Buffalo's lead to 7-6 on a 23-yard Nick Folk field goal that counts despite the fact that Carrington got a paw on it.

New York was able to get deep into the red zone thanks, once again, to its running game. The Jets are running all over the Bills thus far; with 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter, the Jets already have 90 rushing yards on 20 attempts. They may not pass the ball again all day, considering how poorly Mark Sanchez has played to this point.

Buffalo has since gone three-and-out offensively, so the Jets have the ball once again looking to re-claim the lead they gave up when Sanchez hit Bills linebacker Bryan Scott for a 20-yard touchdown.
