Buffalo Bills' David Snow Starts At Center

Stay connected for news and updates

The Buffalo Bills made the decision this week to start rookie David Snow at center to replace Eric Wood. Wood is out two to four weeks with a partially torn MCL.

Some expected guard Kraig Urbik to slide over to the pivot as he did a year ago when Wood was felled by injury. With inexperienced right tackle Sam Young making his first career start, head coach Chan Gailey opted not to shuffle the entire right side of the line and keep Urbik in his normal position.

Flanking Snow to help him with the line calls will be veterans Urbik on the right and Andy Levitre on the left. Rookie Cordy Glenn is also starting at left tackle. By leaving Urbik at right guard, they are alternating rookie-veteran down the offensive line.

The Bills and Rams kick off at 1 PM. The St. Louis pass rush will certainly be fierce in the face of the green line.
