Wide Receiver???

Am I the only one who feels wide receiver is not one of the Bills top needs this off season???

Provided the Bills sign Stevie Johnson, why is WR one of the Bills top needs?

I'll admit that I am not that crazy about Donald Jones however he is young, athletic and appears to have some upside. I am very high on Marcus Easley, but yes I realize the injury history. Isn't that what this team's 2012 success is tied to, coming back from injuries?

And weren't the Bills one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL before the rash of injuries took over? Wasn't that with Donald Jones in the lineup? I understand the desire for a player to run the go route and out jump the DBs but didn't we try that with TO. Isn't TO exactly what everyone is clamoring for? He Fitz were not that prolific together. The fact is, Fitz does not throw the sideline Go route well. IMO it is the worst throw we ask him to make. Please - someone pull the stats on sideline Go route completion percentage last year. A bigger guy does not fix a flat throw IMO.

Just to stir the pot - I would like to see the Bills get 3 defensive pass rushers this off season, and an OLB. The Giants have shown us it's the only way to consistently beat the Patriots. Resign Bell so he and Hairston can handle the LT load together. ..........and here is the kicker, take a flyer on a guy like James Hardy a 2nd time at a greatly reduced price. He's 6'3"+, young, can go up and get it, and produced some when on the field as a rookie. If he can stay healthy, which is doubtful, he could be exactly the guy Nix is looking for and we would not have to waste a draft pick.

Let's hear the comments. I'm eager to hear 12 years of playoff drought anger directed at my blog post. Spell check also does not seem to be functioning so save that one please.

Let's Go Buffalo!!!!!!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
