And it's time for the 2nd of my 4 offseason mocks. I'm going to go a full 7 rounds here. I'm assuming the Bills resign Stevie Johnson, sign Manny Lawson, and also sign a mid level FA corner. So without further dudes, let's jump.
Rd 1. The Bills select Orson Charles TE Georgia. Coples and Brockers had just came off the board to the Panthers and Dolphins the two picks before Buffalo, and it's still to high to pick Decastro, with LeVitre and Urbik already entrenched along the line.. The Bills select the best player on their big board and thats Charles. He's an oversized receiving TE in the mold of a Kellen Winslow Jr. And gives Fitzpatrick yet another receiving option.
RD 2. Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech. He's a guy who's open even when he's covered, and looks like the next big dangerous GA Tech WR. The Bills are building a dangerous offensive team here. If Fitz doesn't put up numbers next season thats on him.
RD 3.Micah Pellerin CB Hampton. He's a tall fast athetic corner, who could contribute day 1 with some proper coaching. And finaly a pick on the defensive side of the ball.
RD 4.Julian Miller DE WVU. More of a grinder type DE. Good against the run but needs to learn to play lower. Can contribute on a rotational basis from day 1.
Rd 4.Jake Bequette DE Arkansas.........................for Der Jaeger.
RD 5.Tom Compton OT South Dakota A tall athletic kid with NFL size, needs coaching but has a ton of potential
RD 5. Delano Johnson OLB Bowie State Is a size speed guy, remains to be seen how he will react to the jump in competition.
RD 6. Jordan Jefferson QB LSU. Toolsy project QB.
RD 7. Chad Diehl FB Clemson. Has prototypical size for the position, and at the least would give C-Mac a breather during pre season games. His familiarity with Spiller and Hairston might give him a chance to stick.
So there you have it. Constructive criticism welcome.
