Whats up Rumblers, hope your all having a kickass February break, as I surely am. Watching my Knicks tear it up (and shout out to all of you who are Knick fans) has put me in a great state of mind. As for the Bills, the thought of next season/ the offseason/ the draft lingers my mind every day of the week. Sadly it looks like Stevie Johnson will not be wearing a Bills uni next season...this is obviously something to be sad about because he was the threat/ personality/ heart of our pass game. Had Johnson caught that ball against the Steelers, he would have been a strong pro bowl candidate in 2010-2011.
I am not going to dread the Stevie Johnson situation as there are positive things to look foward to. We have a top 10 pick in the draft this year and this is something to rejoice on (unless we swing and miss). With Johnson out the door, WR is a hole that needs to be filled within rounds 1-4. I like our options at the 10th pick, and I am fond of the picks mocks have been giving us. With one more gap with Stevie out the door, who should we take with the first pick? Both the coverage game and the pass rush need immediate upgrades, and our quarterback position holds question marks. Who do you want to hear Roger Godell announce "With the tenth pick of the NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select ________". You make the pick Rumblers.
