RG3 and Potentially the 10th pick being a good place for Trent Richardson trade value

After watching some of this combine, it is fair enough that RG3 impressed a lot of people, including me. I know its just running around cones and jumping, but after running a 4.38 40, I am sure it just didn't make me salivate. What was interesting was that he said that he talked to Buffalo. That they actually met with him. Mayock was going down the top 10 and he said, yup Buffalo talked to me. Now, It is going to be a big push for RG3. He will be the hottest commodity for the 2nd pick since the whole Eli ordeal. I predict it will take at least two 1st rounds, and some more, even coming up from #4 where the Browns sit. I thought Mayock made a great point when he talked about Buffalo. He said he liked "Kirpatrick" lol, people can't seem to get his name right, but that when you have the opportunity to upgrade a position, you do it, and RG3 would be an upgrade. He was talking specifically about Buffalo. Now, If Nix and Co, feel like he can be the next great thing for the next 10-15 years, he would be worth two 1sts. Teams that trade up to get these guys like Eli, and for example Julio Jones don't regret what they did when they win. If we are sold, we may jump up...But I doubt it. I just thought it was interesting that Buffalo was mentioned in the mix, and wanted to see what your thoughts were.

Secondly, Trent Richardson is the top running back. And I could see a team or two, like Cinci, that could really use him come up and grab him at 10. I think #10 is a good place to take Richardson, and someone may be willing to jump up and grab him. This is a more realistic senario then the whole RG3 thing, and could benefit us. I personally do not see a DE worth taking, or an OLB for that matter at 10. By trading down, we would have our pick at a lot of solid options. Upshawn, Reiff, Martin, Hightower, Mercilus could all be there. Anyone of those guys are all in the mention for our pick at #10. By trading down we would ultimately pick a guy that anyone would call a good pick for us at #10, and be able to pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd in the process. The draft is not great at DE or OLB, but it is deep. Even trading down and grabbing Fleener, might be a great option as he looks to be the next great TE. Bottom line is I think there is a lot of potential for a great pick in the latter half of the first, and not much worth taking in the top 10. You just have to find a team willing to come up, and Trent Richardson might be our playing card.

What are your thoughts about the Bills jumping up for RG3?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
