A lot of fans have been speculating about the Bills trading down in the first round this year and if CHIX is as down on DE Quinton Coples as everyone believes, if the opportunity presents itself for them to trade down, they should. He flat out is the prospect who makes the most sense for the Bills at #10 (if he's still there - an open question) and they still need to draft a RDE prospect but there are a number of candidates (i.e., Whitney Mercilus; Nick Perry; Andre Branch; Vinny Curry) who are all extremely close to each other in potential and capability, all of whom rate out as a later Round 1/early Round 2 pick. I don't see any other matrix between Bills' needs and likely available prospects that make as much sense as would trading down, getting an additional Round 2 pick, and still getting one of those listed RDE prospects. So even though CHIX has no history of trading down in the draft, I think 2012 is the year to do so and I am hopeful that we witness them doing it. They would have to have a draft partner to make that happen and that's the tricky part but in terms of the decision of what's the best thing for OBD to do with the #10 draft pick this year, it would either be to take Quinton Coples if he falls to them, or if they really don't believe in him, TRADE DOWN.
