Good morning Rumblers,
Today's Joe is going to be short and sweet, just how you like it.
The other day I was reading a post on this site, and someone mentioned the fact that we should sign a FA DE and draft one at #10, so that we can have a dominate front four. So I started thinking, what other unit can we do this for and to my displeasure, unfortunately we can do this for our entire team accept at RB. We have tons of holes all over our football team and we can improve everywhere.
The great teams in this league can point to multiple units on their team, that can be labeled as being dominate. I'll list a few:
Giants- (DL, QB, WR)
Pats- (QB, OL, TE)
Saints- (QB, OL, WR, TE)
Packers- (QB, WR, TE, LB)
49ers- (LB, DL, OL, RB)
I'm quite sure we can name a lot more. So this thread is two folds:
1) I will like to know what is the best unit on this team besides RB?
2) Should we continue to fill holes by drafting players and signing Free Agents, or develop a dominate unit?
When I say a dominate unit; I mean ignoring holes on you team and drafting and signing guys to solidify a specific unit. For example, signing Brandon Carr and trading up to get Claiborne. A move like this can be seen as overkill, and can solidify a unit for years.
So what do you think Bills Fans?
