Hey guys looking over the mock drafts and they are varying a bit more lately.I was thinking out loud. What if the Bills since we never pick anyone that we are mocked drafted to pick...what if instead we were to add a guy with as much athletic talent if not more than our 3rd pick overall Dareus.
Don't you want to have as many Dareus-like players on your line??Hmmm isn't Kyle Williams coming of an off-season where he is quoted as saying, it is the healthiest he has ever felt since early in his career.
Dontari Poe who we all know by now he has some serious athletic football chops. Benching 44 reps. Running under 5.0 in the 40 yard dash at 6 foot 4 346 pounds.Just for comparisons sake all numbers that beat and exceeded what Dareus did at a weight of 318 at the combine. He is now 340.
Williams, Poe, and Dareus all can play anywhere on the line in either a 4-3 or 3-4. It doesn't matter to them. Poe is only 21 years old, Dareus 22.
The thought to me is mind boggling. Offensive lines would have to deal with 3 linemen they would have to try and double team or worry about. No to mention we could add someone else in the draft or free agency that would be guaranteed one on one.
Troupe would no longer be a player we would have to rely upon. He would just be depth which could be good for his chronic back issues. Especially after we wear down the Offense's Linemen.
Just something different. I'm sure the Buffalo Bills are certainly looking into LT and also impact WR, but I thought Poe would be an interesting twist if he is there for us at #10.
