NFL’s global dream doesn’t include Toronto
This is good news for the Bills. They will either remain the Buffalo Bills or go the way of the Cleveland Browns.....no not them....the other Cleveland Browns.

GOOD!!!!! IT'S A HORRIBLE SPORTS MARKET ANYWAYS!!!!!
Population does not equal quality market (just look at LA). Toronto may have a 7million+ population, but otherwise from hockey, it’s a horrible sports market.
The Raptors can barely sell out games, the Blue Jays haven’t had a packed house in about a decade (talking attendance, not sold tickets, because they always seem to “sell out” each year’s home opener), The Argoes can’t even put up 20000 fans, and the Rock can barely sell a quarter of the ACC.
Simple fact is, if it’s not related to the Leafs, Toronto doesn’t really care.

Agreed.....would they care more if it was their team?
I was more worried about Rodger’s, and now the current group, buying the team and renaming it something like the Toronto Fire. Fortunately, it sounds like Goodell has little interest in expanding North.

My understanding is that the CFL is pretty popular in Canada. No reason to move NFL teams there. I like the idea of Mexico, though.

Here’s the irony, the CFL is very popular everywhere in Canada…. except Toronto. Go figure.

Good grief – some of the countries mentioned here (Mexico, Pakistan, China, Brazil), the NFL would be lucky to get all their personnel back in one piece from some of these places. I cannot imagine any team wanting to travel to these places in the middle of the season.

No one circles the waiver wire like the Buffalo Bills!
What are you trying to say....
That one of the most corrupt governments on the planet would take advantage of having rich, high profile athletes in the country and not provide proper security so that they could be kid napped and ransomed for millions….some of which would undoubtedly be kicked back to certain government officials? That’s just crazy talk ;-)

Well, I wouldn’t put the team’s level of safety in Mexico on par with Pakistan, but China and Brazil would be fine. And I imagine the NFL would have to place heavy emphasis on security in any contracts negotiated with stadiums in the countries.
