Buffalo Bills GM Buddy Nix is a busy man these days. Not only is he busy overseeing an operation that's re-signed two key players this week (Stevie Johnson and Scott Chandler), but he's also out attending pro days for top prospects in the 2012 NFL Draft. We talked about his presence at Georgia Tech this morning; he was also in attendance at Syracuse.
As Brent Axe pointed out this morning, Nix was photographed talking to SU head coach Doug Marrone as Orange hopefuls worked out in front of scouts. (Note photo No. 5.)
The biggest-name SU prospect this year also happens to play a position of dire need for the Bills. Chandler Jones, a defensive end, is the brother of Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Arthur Jones as well as UFC star Jon Jones. The 6'5", 266-pound junior recorded 147 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and 10 sacks over three seasons as a starter for the Orange.
