Levitre / DeCastro / Wood / Urbik / Pears

There is absolutely no doubt that David DeCastro is a rare talent at the guard position. I'm not certain that I can say the same for either Reiff or Martin, both of which are projected as RT/G material. This got me to thinking that Levitre who played Tackle in College was also projected as a RT/G coming out. In 2011, Andy Levitre was asked to move to LT for a few games and he played admirably for a guy that was thrown into the fire.

At #10 unless Coples or Ingram are there, both who are clear cut top 10 talents (Although I question Coples work ethic, I think the kid would be very well surrounded with Mario, Kyle, Marcel & Chris) So unless they are there for us, i think drafting a RT at #10 is more of a stretch than drafting a home run guard prospect.

So if Coples & Ingram are off the board we should try to move down a few spots and even if we don't, we could grab DeCastro. Go into camp with Levitre and Hairston competing at LT. Potentialy we could go into the season with:

Levitre/Decastro/Wood/Urbik/Pears (with Hairston the swing tackle and Rinehart the backup G/C)

Seems to me that Bell was benched last year in favor of Levitre. Andy, given a chance and practice time could be a very serviceable LT and DeCastro would probably be an upgrade at guard.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
