Aright, we know Fitzy is the man under center for the next few years. To be perfectly honest, I'm pretty pumped about it. If you think about it, 2 years ago he came in mid (well quarter) season replacing Captain Checkdown and performed well! Last year was an extremely short off-season and that is probably difficult for a first year as a starter, but he still wasn't awful.
This year we have a full off-season with him already comfortable in Gailey's scheme. It should (SHOULD) pan out to be successful, especially if we add a weapon or two (or three) via FA (doubtful) or the draft.
We have Thigpen as a back up. Performed not too shabby under Gailey, but his only action was getting hit in the head on the sideline before coming in. Not that they knew it then or anything, but I would rather have Fitz with cracked ribs (or whatever it was) instead of...that. Do you really want Thigpen as a backup? What if we trade him and a pick for Tebow? (I don't think we should, but it is possible...I guess?)
So what should the Bills do?
