I for one have been very impressed with what our FO has completed this offseason. Re-signing WR Johnson was a necessity, as was signing some of our other FAs. I appreciate the fact that we did not create more holes in our roster than what was necessary. With LT still a question mark, I hope OBD addresses it in some capacity… Bell or McNeill (Chargers
) or both if we stack players on players.
Signing Mario was a tremendous achievement for our organization! I, like many others on this site, was nervous that he was going to leave us standing alone at the altar again… kind of like Meacham did. But the end result will keep me as a faithful follower of the team for at least another couple of years!
This all brings me around to the title… Buddy and Chan NEED to finish the DE line (Mark Anderson?) and LT position, so we can take the BPA CB with the 10th pick!
A CB selection would allow us to counter the expanded Patriots
WR corps, while watching our Fab 4 terrorize Tom Bundchen all day long!
The Patriots are now running with: TEs - Gronkowski and Hernandez, WRs - Welker, Brandon Lloyd
, and Anthony Gonzalez
or Edelman. From the looks of this on paper… it is quite formidable. Better than what they had last year!
Since we missed out on Carr and a few other CBs, I am hoping that OBD has been following what the Pats have been doing and have a solid plan for countering their recent signings...
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
