I think we all can agree the biggest needs left for the Bills heading into the draft are OT, OLB, WR, DB however, IMO none are glaring needs. Could we benefit from upgrades? of course! so could 3/4 of the other teams in the league. We are in a great position to pick the BPA or move up/down the draft board to get the player we want (since were not worried about losing out on a player at a position of need). The Bills FO has already said they will draft a QB this year and its not hard to see why... There is no one behind Fitz who can A) keep this team competitive OR B) be a "qb of the future" type (upside/talent but needs to develop). I have a feeling Buffalo will draft a QB with one of their first two picks. What would everyone think of drafting a QB? Who would you prefer? Buffalo MUST address the backup/long term QB situation. They have no one to groom for the future and coming into a draft with no GLARING needs seems like the best time to add one IF one is available they like.
My wishes- trade back and take either Kuchley LB, Kirkpatrick DB (shore up one of the weaker areas on our D) in the first. Kirk Cousins QB in the second. The trade back will get us another 3rd (assuming we only drop a few spots to Dallas or Philly area..if further, it might be another second rounder). With our multiple picks in the 3rd and 4th rounds..address needs at the other weaker positions including OL, DB, LB and TE. Its important to remember the Bills track record of drafting BPA the last few years when addressing mid-round picks.
Reality is we probably wont trade back so id still be ok with either Kuchley or Kirkpatrick at 10.
