Previous Playoff Droughts

Just like the rest of you fans, that grew up with the team of the 90s, I do not like this 12 year play off drought one bit. But there is good news fans, it stops this year.

From 1966-1974 the Bills did not make the Playoffs. We went through 6 different coaches in that time frame, 6 different QBs, and we even had OJ most of this playoff drought.

From 1975-1980 the Bills did not make the Playoffs. We went through 3 different coaches in that time frame, 2 different QBs.

From 1982-1987 the Bills did not make the Playoffs. We went through 3 different coaches (the last one being Levy), 3 different QBs (the last one being Kelly).

From 1988-1999 The Bills made the Playoffs every year except for 2 years (1994 and 1997).

From 2000-now the Bills have not make the Playoffs. We have gone through 6 different coaches in that time frame, 7 different QBs.

Are you guys seeing some kind of pattern here? Well folks I have been saying since the start of last year the 2012 season will be the year our stop to this drought. The Bills will take the wild card, in 2013 the Bills will take the AFC East and in 2014 AFC Championship game. We have always been a team to build through the draft, Jim Kelly we drafted him, Thurman we drafted him, Andre we drafted him, and Bruce we drafted him. I am not a fan of Fitz but how man people were fans of Kelly when he first came to the Bills? I know my old man wasn't.

I am pumped up for this year and September needs to hurry up and get here.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
