Buffalo Bills GM Buddy Nix has repeatedly gone on record stating that he's not generally not interested in taking a net loss in draft picks to move up in the draft for any player. He most recently said it at the beginning of March, when discussing the bold idea of trading up for Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.
"I never have liked to, and I never have traded picks," Nix told WGR 550 at the time. "I hate giving them up. I like to get them. We've got nine, and I'd like to wind up with ten, and we'll see how that goes."
So while Nix's modus operandi has never been to trade up, it's still worth discussing at least once here. After all, he was never known for giving out $100 million contracts to free agents, either; in fact, he expressly said he'd do the opposite when he took the GM job over in 2010.
Let's assume, then, that the Bills are suddenly willing to reverse a trend with Nix and explore a trade up in the 2012 NFL Draft. There are three likely targets, in our opinion, that the team would have its sights set on. Our question for you: which of the three would you prefer that the team target in this hypothetical situation?
