Today was a regular lazy Sunday for me. I get very little sleep during the week, so I sleep in until noon on most weekends. This morning, I got up at noon, scrounged around the kitchen until I had a makeshift breakfast in front of me, and then turned on NFL Network. The 2006 AFC Championship game where the Colts beat the Pats was on, so I was psyched. When the game ended and I got to savor the look of shame on Brady's face once again, I started clearing the table. When I came back, the intro for NFL Classic Games was on again, and I got the best gift television could have possibly given me on a Sunday. The COMEBACK! I will not be moving from my couch before 3:30pm.
I was 7 years old when this game happened. My dad and I watched the first half. The Bills were being beat so badly that we turned the game off. So, other than YouTube clips, I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS GAME! That moment taught me to NEVER turn off a Bills game before the game is actually over. I'll suffer a million heartbreaking losses for the off chance that I'll see something amazing just one more time.
So, turn on your televisions, Bills fans!
